Southside House
From 2020-2023, ICRR ran Southside House to support a broader intellectual and political community alongside our offices.
Southside House aimed to collectively theorise race through the lens of Indigenous sovereignty, stategise effective anti-racist politics and provide support to those fighting racism in institutions.
Activities at Southside House included a regular reading group, workshops and office spaces to support our creative, research and activist community.
Our lease at Southside House ended when the property was sold in late 2023. We made a ‘Housing Justice Means Land Back’ shirt to remember Southside and the political importance of radical community spaces.
